Dividends are earned during the month, but they may post either within that month or on the first business day of the following month.
Statements are based on when dividends post, not when they are earned. As a result, a dividend earned in one month may appear on the next month’s statement.
This is standard industry practice. All dividends are reported accurately and in full, and statement reporting is compliant and correct.
