After each investment transaction including stock liquidations, you’ll receive a trade confirmation for your records. This document serves as a formal record for your organization and supports both transparency and compliance.

Below is an example trade confirmation with a step-by-step explanation using a real example to help you understand what each section means and how to interpret them.

Note: The statement images included here are for example and illustrative purposes ONLY. This is not a real statement and the numbers represented here are not real returns.

Example Trade Confirmation:

1. Account Information

At the top of the confirmation, you’ll find:

  • Account Number: A unique ID assigned to your investment account (e.g., 8JP 012345)

  • Account Name: Your organization’s legal name

  • Clearing Firm: Apex Clearing Corporation processes and safeguards all trades

This section confirms the trade was executed through your Infinite Giving investment account.

2. Trade Details Table

This table shows the key information from your trade confirmation, along with explanations and real values from the example:

*Note: there is often an SEC Fee of ~0.0008% of sale proceeds that accompanies security sales. This is a government mandated fee applied to sales of securities.

3. Trade Description & Notes

Beneath the table:

  • Desc: Describes the security – Advanced Micro Devices Inc Common Stock

  • Trailer: Indicates how the trade was handled – Discretion is exercised means it was placed by an advisor on your behalf.

  • Currency: Trades are shown in USD.

4. Summary Section

This provides an at-a-glance view of the trade date’s activity:

  • Summary for Current Trade Date: 03/05/25

  • Total Shares Bought: 0.00

  • Total Dollars Bought: $0

  • Total Shares Sold: 150

  • Total Dollars Sold: $11,250.00

This confirms that no shares were purchased, and 150 shares of AMD were sold.

5. Footer

At the bottom, you’ll see:

  • Process Date: The date the confirmation was generated (e.g., 03/09/2025)

  • Page Number: Page 1

Why This Matters

Trade confirmations provide transparency and a permanent record of every transaction made through your account. They are helpful for:

  • Financial reporting and audit documentation

  • Verifying trade execution details

  • Tracking investment performance
